Sen. Fetterman: Communists Calling to Abolish Everything Is ‘Not Big Tent,’ ‘These Are Crazy People’

FETTERMAN: "Like, I said that on my own socials. I’m like, this is not a big tent kind of like, 'Well, you know, like, you know, abolish prisons, abolish the border, abolish the presidency, abolish the Pentagon.' I mean, these are crazy people. And now they are electing people across our country, you know, Colorado, even in my own state, definitely in New York City right now. And some of those people like Mamdani are doing dangerous things. Could you imagine if I just announced that that, you know, I’m going to arrest so, so and so in Pennsylvania or you’re not welcome here in my state? You know, he’s a clown. And now he’s putting the list of people that owns homes in New York. You know, don’t put people on lists. They haven’t done anything wrong. And they’re behaving in truly bizarre ways. And that seems like what the DSA wants more and more. And now why aren’t more Democrats — isn't it — it’s incumbent on us, Republican and Democrat side, to police your own ranks. So that’s why I’m willing to do and I’ll reminding (sic) people, yeah, the filibuster, you know, wasn’t that long we wanted to kill it. And now we’re so grateful that it is still here right now. And the people that had the courage to stand up and say that, we’re punished and now they’re not with us anymore politically."
