Sen. Fetterman: DSA ‘Crazies’ Are ‘at the Gate Here in My Party’

EXCERPT:

FETTERMAN: "And that became like the brass ring that we — like, we got to get rid of the filibuster, kill the filibuster. And I’ve said that in my op ed, that history has vindicated Senators Sinema and Manchin, and they held a hard line against that. And for every Democrat, both here in our caucus or anyone nationally, if we were successful to eliminate the filibuster, imagine what the last 18 months would have been in terms of the policies enacted, because, you know, Democrats, we haven’t stopped any kinds of thing, really. The only thing that has was the filibuster. And now on our side, now we have more and more crazies. You know, the DSA, the abolish the border, abolish the prison, abolish the Senate, you know, crazies, now they’re at the gate here in my party. And I would warn people the kind of extremism, now that’s, you know, incredibly dangerous. And if we eliminate the filibuster, we’re essentially a smaller version of the House and will be governed by these bizarre, extreme fixations on — you know, that’s coming down to anti-American things coming on the Democratic side."
