Abdul El-Sayed: I Think We Can Eliminate All the Medical Debt in This Country
‘Let’s start working Medicare for all’
TRANSCRIPT:
EL-SAYED: “In the process, though, I actually think that we could eliminate all the medical debt in this country, $225 billion. Just so you understand what that is, that is the amount of the GDP of more than half of U.S. states in this country. So, on day one, I want to offer medical debt relief to everybody. I think we could get bipartisan support to do it, and I’D love to get that done. And let’s start working for Medicare for All, and then let’s make sure that we can get money out of politics so the big pharmas and the big insurances of the world aren’t in the way when it comes down to finally getting this done for all Americans.”
