Fauci will also testify on Wednesday before the Senate Homeland Security Committee. He’ll face questions on how he handled the pandemic. We got his diary entries through the senator and Fauci says ‘I spoke with the mayor of New York and convinced him based on what I was saying publicly, my conversation tonight to close NYC schools. I had a similar call for the chief of staff of the governor of California. She said, based on my TV appearances today and yesterday, the governor will close schools in California.’ But then Fauci later said he never wanted schools closed.”
