Victoria Coates on Iran: Expect to See a Transition from Operation Epic Fury to Operation Economic Fury
EXCERPT:
COATES: “I think Admiral Cooper was saying there that, you know, we had about two weeks' worth of military targets left after the main part of Operation Epic Fury and that we had completed our work there. And so what I think you're going to see is perhaps a shift to more emphasis on the economic front, on Operation Economic Fury. We just got some interesting numbers over the last day or so, which show that Iran's inflation in June was up around 88.6 percent. I mean, bear in mind how upset everybody in America gets when our inflation is around 4 percent. So 88.6 is where Iran is, with food at 134 percent. Just imagine. I mean, people aren't able to feed themselves. So as Secretary Kennedy was saying in that bite a little bit ago, if we can manage our economic situation responsibly and not have too much pain on the American people, you know, that pressure internally on Iran is what might eventually get this thing across the finish line.”
