RIGGS: "My frustration with the Democrats in this instance when it comes to the Voter ID Act is they effectively are telling me that because I’m a woman who may or may not have changed my name when I got married, that I am now too stupid to figure out how to get an I.D. to show proof that I am a citizen and to vote. They’re telling me, as a woman who got married, I am too stupid to do that. I don’t buy it and I think a lot of Americans think, 'No, I'm smarter than that. Don't tell me I’m stupid. Don’t tell me that I don’t know how to show up and show proof that I can vote and that my last name is who I say I am.'"
