Daniel Dale Slams Trump’s ‘Fake Claims’ and ‘Fake Stories‘ in Recent Speech: ‘Making Stuff up Again’

‘He‘s asking people to recall this massive nationwide television outage caused by the wind not blowing on June 27th, 2024, when he debated Joe Biden did not happen’

EXCERPT:

DALE: "The president is making stuff up again. So, he‘s asking people to recall this massive nationwide television outage caused by the wind not blowing on June 27th, 2024, when he debated Joe Biden. Did not happen, obviously. He said, 'Nobody could watch that debate.' More than 51 million Americans watched that debate on television alone, including people, of course, in the state that produces by far the most wind power, and that is Texas, Republican-dominated Texas, then and now the nation‘s leader in wind. Now, the underlying premise of this story also makes no sense. He‘s been telling it for years now, but televisions don‘t go out. Houses are still powered when the wind isn‘t blowing, even when wind power is used. And that‘s because wind is used as part of a mix of power sources, not as a sole source. Also, batteries exist that can store wind for periods when the wind isn‘t blowing. So this specific 'Nobody can watch the Joe Biden debate story,' completely made up, and the underlying premise that TVs go out when the wind isn‘t blowing also completely made up by the president of the United States."
