CARTER: “We have to lay out simple solutions. No tax on tips, building the wall, very simple policies that will make a big difference to address America’s concerns. Let’s talk about what cutting taxes can do and let’s talk about how it will put money back into the pockets of people. We have to address the economy and can’t simply say all academic measures are good but we can’t afford person the pump of groceries are getting more expensive. Things are just too expensive. We need simple symbolic gestures, two or three is all we need and we need it push it over and over again until the midterms. The left is doing their own thing.
