Gen. Jack Keane: U.S.-Israel Military Relationship ‘Could Not Be Any Better’

KEANE: “I think it’s quite unprecedented again what is happening here we conducted a combined operation with Israel. Hopefully we return to that. But the reality is this combined operation, we have the two most proven militaries and countries working together against a common objective. That is quite remarkable. And when you look around the world today the United States has been involved in other conflicts. We have never had in my lifetime as reliable incapable of an ally fighting side-by-side with us as Israel is. That is the facts. I am in contact with our military the relationship they have with the IDF could not be any better that respect and admiration they have with each other and what has taken place here is really solid. It is as good as it has ever been with anybody."
