JAMES: “So I truly want to thank the first responders and the good Samaritans. I also want to thank members of the NYPD for their quick response in apprehending the individual who is responsible for these two crimes, so I truly want to thank NYPD always. I also want to say that I had the opportunity to speak to the police commissioner, as well as the local district attorney, and they have asked me not to draw any conclusions as a result of last night’s event, and so I don’t want to draw any conclusions."
