Marc Thiessen: Iran War Is the First War ‘Where One Party Has Been Against the President and Rooting Against the President Since Day One’
EXCERPT:
THIESSEN: "I think the Democrats are politicizing a war, which is the last thing you want to see them doing. We should all be rooting for America to win this war with Iran because this is about vital national — and I give President Trump enormous credit. This has not been good for him politically to be doing it. He is doing it because he thinks it’s important to disarm Iran of a nuclear weapon. And unfortunately, this has been the first war in my memory where one party has been against the president and rooting against the president since day one. And now they are saying they might not fund — replenish our stockpiles, not give him a war supplemental to replenish — the war supplemental isn’t to pay for the war, the weapons are already out of the door. We need to replenish our stockpiles from what we've used so that we can deter China and other countries. And they're saying no? That's insane."
