SCHUMER: “Well, we have had several votes on these tariffs and I believe more — less recent Canadian tariffs. We need our Republican colleagues to join us. These tariffs hurt the American people. I believe it’s estimated that the average American family pays $1,700 more out of their pockets because of them and they’re done — certain tariffs, they’re OK, but they’re done in a willy-nilly way without regard to how they affect the American people.”
