Jason Riley on Data Centers: ‘A.I. Will Make Us More Productive,’ the Scaremongering Out There Will Not Come to Pass

RILEY: "I think it will. That is what I believe will happen. A.I. will make us more productive. The scaremongering out there will not come to pass. That is been the pattern in the past. And I expect that to be the same in this case. I think we are seeing a reprise right now of what we saw during the fracking debate for extracting oil and natural gas where you had to states caving as kim said to the environmental left. And it costs them. It cost them jobs. It cost consumers in terms of energy prices, states that embrace it did better than states that did not for the other thing I adhere is banning a data centers will not stop the a.I. revolution. Could do however is put at a competitive disadvantage against countries like China going forward. We do not want that to happen and so that is why think it is important that politicians tell the truth. Stand up to these interest groups that have their own agenda out there.
