KRISHNAMOORTHI: “I mean, he‘s way out of bounds. This is similar to what the FEMA agency is doing under his supervision, under Markwayne Mullin’s supervision, which is trying to condition grants for anti-terrorism funds based on whether or not those states enact certain laws or practices to cooperate with the Trump Administration on election security. Again, highly questionable tactics. And, again, this is something that‘s going to be litigated and Congress is going to join in the litigation. And it‘s also going to demand oversight within Congress as well.”
