Republican Election Lawyer: Trump Still Isn’t Able to Provide Any Evidence of Election Interference
RUSH EXCERPT:
GINSBURG: “What stood out to me is that there‘s still no evidence of a result of any election being incorrect. Uh, there still were not the documents. There still was not the evidence, although we‘ll we‘ll see what‘s produced. Um, I think, uh, a couple of things. First of all, the president says there are vulnerabilities in the election system, and it is not a perfect system. We have over 8000 jurisdictions. There are inconsistencies between those jurisdictions. Elections are notoriously underfunded. And so if you want to fix the vulnerabilities, there should be a lot of federal money going out to states and localities to actually succeed in doing that. Um, it‘s also kind of interesting the way he, he talked about China and the security vulnerabilities. After all. And this feels a little bit like an own goal.”
