Amb. Matt Whitaker on Passing of Lindsey Graham: ‘It Was Shocking,’ He Wanted to Make Sure That America Was in Its Place in the Globe
‘My heart goes out to his friends and family’
RUSH EXCERPT:
WHITAKER: "It was shocking and very sad. To hear senator Scott talk about his friend Lindsey Graham is impactful and certainly we all owe a debt to Lindsey Graham. I would run into him all over the world quite frankly and have several meals with him. We talked about NATO and foreign policy and he he was wanting to make sure that America was in its place in the globe and at the front of making sure that we were strong and that strength would ensure peace. So it’s really sad news. My heart goes out to his friends and family and he will certainly be missed by many and the United States has a role of patriot that will need to be replaced unfortunately because of his passing."
