SCHNELL: “No, absolutely nothing did, Richard. And I can tell you, I was going through my my conversation, my tape recorder before we spoke. And I spoken to Lindsey Graham before Congress broke for recess last month. And it was a conversation like we’ve had for years talking about the news of the day, talking about whatever issue was headlining that day. There was no indication that anything was wrong with him medically, physically, mentally, absolutely no indication. And as I mentioned before, he was keeping up with that rigorous, busy schedule. That was just something that he always did, being that he was in Ukraine, being that he was scheduled to be on television this morning and then back in Washington tomorrow for the return of the Senate. So absolutely no indication, as far as I’m concerned, of this news that we would be talking about this morning."
