MS NOW’s Mychael Schnell: Lindsey Graham Died at 71 Following a Brief Illness
RUSH EXCERPT:
SCHNELL: “Yeah. Richard, at this moment, right now, we don’t have any information beyond that brief statement that you read from senator Lindsey Graham’s office that he passed away of that brief and sudden illness last night, the family asking for privacy and appreciating thoughts and prayers at this moment, certainly shocking and sad news. Lindsey Graham, just 71 years old and has been a stalwart of the Senate. He served in the United States Senate since 2003, and he’s had a lifetime of public service. Before he was a member of the U.S. Senate, he was a member of the U.S. house beginning in 1995. Before them, he served a few years in the South Carolina house. So truly, somebody who dedicated his life to public service, and he, up until his final days, was practicing that public service and serving Washington, South Carolina, in the United States. He was in Ukraine on a congressional delegation, as they call it, a caudell meeting with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. For the past two weeks, the Senate’s been on recess."
