Michael Feinberg Slams Kash Patel: What Rises to the Top from the Day He Stepped on the American Stage, Is His Utter ‘Sycophancy’ Toward Trump
RUSH EXCERPT:
FEINBERG: "So I think if you were to look at Kash Patel’s history in government prior to getting to the FBI and his career post arriving at the hoover building, there is one trait of his that stands out beyond anything else. It is more prevalent than the sort of vulgar lifestyle allegedly bouncing from clubs to clubs, or the drinking with the olympic hockey team, or the giving out incorrect information at press conferences. Now, what rises to the top and is most prevalent from the very day he stepped foot on the American stage up until today, is his utter sycophancy toward Trump. So I think regardless of his performance in the job, that’s going to buy him some grace. And it’s also important to note the Trump Administration doesn’t actually care about law and order. They don’t actually care about national security. What they care about in the current moment is arresting immigrants and making this an unfriendly place for refugees and migrants, and by shifting, by some accounts, 25 to 30% of the bureau’s workforce to those anti-immigrant roundups and operations. I think Kash Patel is doing exactly what Trump wants the FBI to do. And I think if white collar falls to the side, if counter-espionage falls to the side, if counterterrorism falls to the side, that’s all an absorbable loss for this administration, so long as they’re sort of ethnic purity project. And I’m being very euphemistic, is allowed to continue and supported by that guy."
