Bobby Ghosh: Prolonged Iran Conflict Will Keep Gas Prices ‘Elevated for a Long Period of Time’

‘It’s not just gas, it’s prices of all kinds of things’

RUSH EXCERPT:

GHOSH: “Well, it means you showed those prices of gas a little earlier in the segment. It means that those prices remain elevated for a long period of time. And it’s not just gas, it’s prices of all kinds of things. Fertilizers means the prices of food go up. The the international sort of the global marketplace is badly disrupted because of this war. I think what we’re going to see over for a prolonged period now, and it will certainly be months. It could be longer than months, is we’ll see a continuation of this cycle where there’s a period of calm, which is to say there’s a period in which no bombs are going off, and then those periods are interrupted by by rockets and missiles being fired off. Remember, there are three different parties in this conflict. There’s America, there’s Iran, and there’s Israel. Any one of those three parties can fire up rockets in the direction of one or more of the others, and then there’s a disruption. The prices go up, the markets tank up, and there’s panic in the in the high street. And then you have another period of calm."
