Brandon Gill: Dems Are Going to Look for a Candidate Like Platner, a Caricature of White Men

GILL: "But I think that you are right there. Democrats are going to go looking for another candidate that they think can make that — articulate that message, particularly to young white men. What happened here, remember, is that Democrats were looking for somebody. Graham Platner didn’t just come out of nowhere from Maine. Party leaders looked for a candidate that they believed would resonate with young white men and they found the biggest scumbag they possibly could because that is — Graham Platner is the caricature of white men that Democrats have in their heads, and that’s who they think can carry that message. I think that we’ll win. The facts are obviously on our side. And I think the vast majority of Americans outside of the liberal enclaves on the coasts find this kind of behavior and rhetoric and character absolutely repellent."
