JOHNSON: “It’s amazing. We are celebrating the greatest nation the world has ever seen, and it was full of activities and events here in Capitol Hill this weekend. We were up to after 2 AM two nights in a row, and could have kept going. The president was excited to deliver that speech in spite of the elements last night. And he told me backstage before he went out there, ‘Mike, there is no way we could have postponed this’. I said, ‘you’re right, sir.’ It was really well done.”
