Dem Rep. Jackson on Needing Photo ID for the Obama Library, But Not for Voting: ‘There Has Been No Voting Fraud’
‘It’s a bad bill’
EXCERPT:
JACKSON: “Well, the voting system is working. It's the fine print that you have to be careful of. The big print, give it away. And the small print, take it back. Look at what's going to happen with women and their right to vote. Having to prove their married name. That'll disqualify almost 20 million women. So it's disproportionately impacting women and not men. So we have to be careful of that. And where's the voter fraud? There has been no voter fraud. And so why are you trying to fix something that's not broken?”
