La Shawn Ford Says Trump Is Bringing Back the Dred Scott Era

FORD: "I mean, do you know that this country, under this administration, is talking about taking us back to the Dred Scott days?  We're not even talking about the Jim Crow. We're talking about Dred Scott. And that means all the gains that we have made in this country because of black people could be thrown away if we don’t win the House back and have a progressive Congress that understands that we have to protect the 14th, the 15th Amendment."
