DHS Sec. Mullin: NY Primary Democratic Socialist Winners ‘Absolutely Have No Place Serving in Congress’

MULLIN: “I would say we went past socialists and now moved into communist. I’m for law and order, full stop. If you’re not, we have nothing in common. Who doesn’t want our kids to be able to walk on our streets safe? Who doesn’t want to hear kids playing outside again? What parent — I’m a father of six and I have a grandchild coming in August. Who doesn’t want their kids or their grandkids to be raised in a safe area? And you should feel safe even if you’re a New Yorker, in Oklahoma, whatever state you come from. And so, when you have an aspiring politician that wants to go to Congress and says that they don’t want to enforce their nation’s laws, especially when it comes to immigration and understanding the amount of people we’re getting out of this country that are gangbangers, complete thugs, murderers and rapists, they’re poisoning our streets. We’ve had more deaths per year because of fentanyl poisoning than we had in entire time we were in Vietnam. And they’re saying they don’t want to get those individuals out of this country? I’m sorry, you absolutely have no place to be serving in Congress. When I first got there 13 years ago, I would never have thought we’re in the position we’re in today. I mean, unfortunately, the Democrat Party is not the Democrat Party of JFK anymore. It’s the Democrat Party of Bernie Sanders, who openly claims to be a socialist.”
