Dem Rep. Meeks: The MOU with Iran Was ‘Poorly Drafted’

MEEKS: “It really wasn't a briefing. It was a question-and-answer period, because they didn't brief us on anything. But we had an opportunity to ask questions about the memorandum of understanding. And if you look at the memorandum of understanding, you will see that it was poorly drafted. It wasn't drafted by individuals clearly that had some expertise in diplomacy. You have individuals who drafted that who are primarily real estate developers. But it left open a lot of questions.”
