Rep. Jason Crow Calls on U.S. Street Fighters to Fight the Trump Administration, Says They Are More Important than Policy

CROW: “Denver and then my district just to the south of Denver is one of the highest immigrant and refugee communities in the country. I represent a district where 20% of my constituents were born outside of the United States. I have 130 languages spoken in my district, so I’m always thinking about how can I create an inclusive environment so that all folks feel welcome and supported? And oh, by the way, I’m going to fight my ass off and protect them from this runaway rogue regime that is the Trump Administration. Right? So a lot of this comes down to in these primaries that, of course, ideology and policy matters, it always does, because we’re Democrats and we care about policy. But right now, what matters more than anything is, are you a street fighter? How far are you willing to go to fight this administration, to fight for democracy, to fight for your constituents? That’s what people want. They want street fighters. And that’s what we’re seeing in primaries."
