Ilya Shapiro Breaks Down SCOTUS on Birthright Citizenship Trans Ruling: ‘We Have to Live in the World of Truth and Reality’

‘There are two genders’

EXCERPT:

I. SHAPIRO: "Yeah, I did think that Thomas' opinion there was — is very strong. I liked it perhaps even more than his birthright citizenship opinion because it does call a spade a spade and says, 'Look, we’re not playing Orwellian games here. There are two genders. And yes, there are exceptions for people with multiple chromosome — XXXY chromosome and all that sort of thing, but we have to live in the world of of truth and reality,' and that was very powerful. This was utterly predictable. Nothing was surprising about this based on how argument went. It’s also not surprising that the justice who couldn’t say what a woman was at her confirmation hearing, Justice Jackson, was dissenting here."
