LEMON: “And look, I think I — when I left, I was disappointed that the people who did not come to my defense, there were many, and they were told that they couldn’t. That’s what I’ve heard from folks, that they were told that they couldn’t. But I think people in this moment need to stand up for Scott Pelley. I think people need to be a Scott Pelley instead of, you know, one of those people, one of those lackeys who go on television every day or every night and just lie and stand up for Donald Trump, even when he’s wrong. We should all be a Scott Pelley. Scott Pelley should be an example to us. We should all support him. His story is our story. If we lose the First Amendment, the freedom of the press, it is over, this whole experiment that we have towards a more perfect union is over. It is — the First Amendment is the bedrock of our Constitution, and without it, nothing else stands.”
