Acting AG Todd Blanche on Voter ID Laws: ‘You Have to Show Your ID’
‘In New York, to go into the court, which is a public location, you have to show your ID’
EXCERPT:
BLANCHE: “A lot of the questions that we confront in our investigations in voter integrity, there would not be a question if some of the very basic ideas that you're talking about were in place. The most basic of which is just an ID. I mean, the fact that there's an objection to that is, again, I don't even know how to fight back on it. You can't. The federal court, it's not true in every federal courthouse, but in New York, to go into the court, which is a public location, you have to show your ID. So, to get into federal court in lower Manhattan, you have to show your ID to buy alcohol until you're 40. You have to show your ID.”
