Steve Hilton: ‘Change Is Coming’

HILTON: "The words are 'Change is coming.' And I think change is coming to California, and you’re seeing that in the results that we’re seeing tonight. People are done with these 16 years of of Democrat policies that have given us the highest poverty rate, highest unemployment rate, highest cost of living in the country, the crime, the chaos, the homelessness, you know the list. And people want change and they’re voting for change. And it’s very encouraging. One further point I just want to note. As a proud American, someone who loves this country so much, this is my first time running for office, and when we just passed that number of 1 million people, it's now over a million voting for me, 1 million Californians and rising, putting their hopes in me to bring change and put our state back on track, it’s an unbelievable honor, something I absolutely take so seriously. I won’t let people down. We have got to turn this state around, and I think tonight looks like the first step down that very important road."
