Kevin Hassett on Manufacturing Boom: Data Centers Are a Big Part of It, People Are Onshoring Drug Production Like Crazy

HASSETT: "Oh, yeah, well, well, obviously, the data center thing is a big part of it. But it's drugs. People are onshoring drug production right now like crazy. Automobile construction is coming back to the U.S, as are a bunch of things that seem small, but like electricity infrastructure companies, the guys who make transformers and things, they're building big new factories here. And even Caterpillar is doing everything they can to make, you know, power generation equipment as fast as they can and doing a lot of investment in that. And so it's pretty much all of the above right now in investment."
