Sometimes people do stupid or really wrong things, and you need the other Branch of government to stand up and say, no, that’s wrong, that’s stupid. We’re going to stop it. That’s the purpose of the checks and balances of our system. And you’re going to start seeing, I hope and pray during this election season, the Congress start to reassert its power to try and stop things that they just know are plain wrong.”
