JOBRANI: “The whole point is that our comedians and late-night talk show hosts should be able to make fun of the leader of the country. That's what we need, because that's what a democracy is. And when you have Brendan Carr of the FCC basically getting him off air, I mean, it's just so flagrant. The whole idea of it was a financial thing is such a joke, because if it was really a financial thing, they could have gone to Stephen and be like, hey, Stephen, we pay you this much every year. Let's have a negotiation. And I'm sure Stephen is the type of guy who would probably negotiate to keep his -- to keep his employees employed.”
