Dem Rep. Crow: ‘There’s So Much That’s Wrong’ About Trump’s Anti-Weaponization $1.8B Slush Fund
‘It makes me physically ill that these convicted criminals were first pardoned by the president and now may get wealthy’
EXCERPT:
CROW: “It makes me physically ill, actually, to think that these convicted criminals who are convicted by juries, not by politicians, were first pardoned by the president and now make it wealthy from U.S. taxpayer dollars. A payout, basically just a corrupt payout to his loyalists and to his cronies, is pretty sickening to think about. And then on top of it, in Colorado, like the governor wrongfully, in my view, pardoned Tina Peters, who is a felon in Colorado, an election denier, violated election law in Colorado. She also might be eligible for this. So there's just so much that's wrong about it.”
