Rep. Greg Murphy: ‘Up to the Courts’ Whether Pardoned J6ers Should Be Eligible to Receive Money

REPORTER: “Do you think Jan. 6th rioters who have been pardoned should be eligible to receive money from this fund?”
MURPHY: “I guess that’s going to be up to the courts. I mean, every — evry case is going to be done individually. You know, I will say, you know, people coming in the Capitol like they did was a — was a challenging time for us. The fact that Pelosi turned down the president’s offer of 10,000 National Guards was not a good sight. But again, people who are incorrectly and weaponized or attacked by the federal government do need compensation.”
