NOBLES: “Hi there. Welcome to Meet the Press Now. I’m Ryan Nobles in Washington, but we’re going to begin this hour with breaking news, reports of a shooting at a mosque in San Diego. These are live pictures of the scene at the Islamic Center of San Diego in the Clairemont area of the city. We are still gathering details about what’s unfolding, but police describe this as an active scene that is contained. Police believe there is at least one shooter, no confirmed details as to the status of the suspects, and no confirmed number of victims at this time. California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office tweeting that the governor’s been briefed on the situation and that state and local officials are working in coordination.
