So, I was telling them, this is wrong and if there is corruption or misconduct, we’ve looked into it, but we will look into it again. But I don’t have the trust to just blindly give you a list of names and hope that they don’t get fired. I was resistant, legally and professionally resistant to providing the names, unless you tell me they’re going to be subject to existing processes to investigate any accusations of misconduct, corruption, whatever. Articulate to me that process, and the only response I got was they will be subject to a DoJ-led review. And he couldn’t articulate what that review would entail.”
