STEVENS: “I think with Hispanics, it was, you can't exist in two worlds where you're going to satisfy your MAGA base by having this army of, you know, heavily armed masked thugs chasing brown people around the country and shooting people who protest in the face, and say that you're for Hispanics. It's not working, and it's not going to work. So look, Trump's coalition, when he won, won 20, when he lost it was 85 percent white, when he won in '24 it was 84 percent white, in a country that's becoming a minority-majority country. And that ultimately is what's driving all of this. Republicans know that the country is becoming a minority-majority country, and all the Stephen Millers in the world can't stop that. So they are desperate to curate the vote to fight this tide, which is a tragedy, because they should be trying to appeal to these voters. But it's something we've failed at as Republicans, and continue to fail at an even greater degree.”
