WILES: “I was going to be an English teacher and just happenstance led me to an early political job. This is the path God chose for me, and I’m here. And I’m doing the best I can every day. And that’s what my recommendation is to everybody. Show up, do your best, work hard, have a great team around you and success will follow. I want to be known as somebody who was predictable, steady, considerate of everybody, the people that work with me and the people that maybe oppose me or us.”
