Homan on CNN Describing ICE Operations as ‘Targeted,’ ‘Quiet:’ ‘We Are Going to Arrest Non-Criminals’

‘I think that’s a good percentage’

EXCERPT:

HOMAN: "The bottom line: mass deportation is what they are going to get. I talk to Markwayne Mullin every day. We have a strategy. Numbers are down slightly because the government was shut down, DHS was shut down. The officers are getting paid, but people that do the targeting, the smart people who run these databases that help us target where to find people that don’t want to be found, that's all been unpaid. But look, I have been working very closely with Markwayne Mullin. We have a strategy. New York is going to be one of them. Look, we are going to flood the zone in New York and we have to. We have to arrest criminal public safety threats. I looked at the numbers before the show, we have already arrested over 6100 illegal alien criminals and taken them off the streets of New York. We are going to keep doing it. Look, we are going to arrest noncriminals, even though President Trump is prioritizing public safety, national security threats. If you look at the numbers right now, about 60% of everybody we are arresting is a criminal. The other 40% are not. I think that’s a good percentage. I think that's better percentage than 40% criminal and 60% noncriminal. But everybody is on the table.”
