Trump: My Ballroom Will Have Six-Inch Thick Windows, ‘This Can Repel a Lot of Different Weapons’

TRUMP: “And you know, for 150 years, presidents have wanted a room. This is the ballroom right here. And it’s too small. We had the king and queen of a lovely country, United Kingdom. And I had — we would have had at least a thousand, everybody wanted to be here, and we had 112 people. Because this is a lovely room, but it’s not big enough, and it’s been that way for many, many years. So every president’s been calling, but I was in position, being a builder and having built many ballrooms and many other things. I’m good at ballrooms. And we’re giving you — I believe it’s the best — it will be the best ever built. And it will have windows that are thicker than any ballroom I’ve ever built. I used to — [Laughter] I usually have glass that’s about a quarter of an inch thick. This is about 6 inches thick. This can repel a lot of different — a lot of different weapons. But it’s going to be incredible.”
