Brandon Gill: The Message Has Been that Violence Against Republicans Are Okay

GILL: “This way, the economist Adam Smith said it best, that mercy to the innocent is cruelty– mercy to the guilty excuse me is cruelty to the innocent. And that’s what you see here, the message is clear. You have left-wing politicians in Washington who are referring to Republicans as the Gestapo and nazis, talking about the horrible things Republicans are doing to destroy democracy, and then you have judges who whenever bad guys act on that rhetoric give them a slap on the wrist. That’s a problem. The message is that violence against Republicans is okay and I think that that’s why affinity for political violence is rising on the left in a way that it is not on the right side of the political spectrum.”
