Fox News: The NYPD Is Investigating Anti-Semitic Graffiti in N.Y.C., Mayor Mamdani Says He’s Outraged

MCADAMS: “Hi, John. Well, they do have surveillance video that the NYPD does confirm they’re looking through. And this happened in New York City, which, for people watching at home, has the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. So people here in Queens, which is also a Jewish neighborhood of the Big Apple, woke up to find swastikas on garages and buildings. One was right behind me, but they removed it right away. So take a look on your screen. This is just some of what was found across this neighborhood, all of this anti-Semitism and all of these symbols that we’ve blurred out here. The incident caught on camera and it’s being investigated as a hate crime. Surveillance video shows the group spray-painting a swastika on a home’s garage door and then even throwing eggs at the house. Mayor Zohran Mamdani says he is outraged. He posted this in part, John, saying ‘there is no place for anti-Semitism in Queens or anywhere in our city.’ He says he stands in solidarity with his Jewish neighbors but it’s really nothing new because it follows years of anti-Semitic protests that we covered in the city just like this.”
