Adam Mockler: Democrats Now ‘Going to Reciprocate in the Same Way Republicans Have Acted’

MOCKLER: “Voters realize this is happening and that it’s a scary race to the bottom? But just to zoom out a little bit, I feel like for the past decade, we’ve lived in a political environment where Republicans have torn up the rule book, saying, we can’t appoint near scotus justice, but actually we’ll appoint are as very last minute. And Democrats have spent the last decade trying to piece the rule book back together, saying, wait a minute. Rule number five says that we have to play by this rule and this rule. At this point, Democrats have gotten to a place where we said we are going to reciprocate in the same way that Republicans have acted. I think prop 50 in California was a perfect example of that. It was a perfect reciprocation of what was happening in Texas, five seats, and we neutralized that. So we’re at a point now where Democrats need to keep playing ball like this."
