Greg Steube: SCOTUS Said That ‘Racially’ Gerrymandered Districts Are Unconstitutional, I Encourage Other States to ‘Redistrict Before the Midterms’

STEUBE: "No comment on the entire northeast United States where it’s all Democrat districts even though 40% of those states have Republicans that live in them, the time of this is great because the U.S. Supreme Court decision that just verified the unconstitutionality of the gerrymandered districts, it emboldens southern states and I think the southern states need to act quickly, wheelie had a two or three vote majority in the house right now, now you been told by the United States Supreme Court that the racially gerrymandered districts are unconstitutional I would encourage other states not just sort of like what you’re seeing happen here to redistrict before the midterms, Louisiana is doing it based on the Supreme Court decision, we should net one or two seats. If Alabama and Georgia and all the southern states acted now to repeal unconstitutionally gerrymandered district it would bode very well for the Republican caucus."
