Congressman Greg Steube on Gas Prices: We’re Doing Everything We Can to ‘Open Up the Domestic Production’ of Oil and Gas

STEUBE: "President Trump is right were doing everything that we can to open up the domestic production of oil and gas and record numbers that was reporting that the president signed a deal with Canada to get more oil into the country into our refineries the big cracks and the challenges getting more refineries in the United States we have plenty of crude getting it refined into the gas station hopefully we are looking at doing away with regulation to quickly bring those up but is billions of dollars to invest in those and it takes a long time through the regulatory process. We have to build a refining capability to meet the needs domestically and protect ourselves from international pressure that you may see."
