RUSH EXCERPT:
TURLEY: "Well, you know, Laura, the interesting aspect of all of this is that the polls show that the public against court packing. But what these politicians are argue, and they’re being very open now about their plan to pack the court, is they’re planning to use Congress. Not let the voters decide, but to have Congress simply expand the court with an instant liberal majority. There was a Harvard professor years ago who said, look, we have to change the system radically to guarantee we can weep power and to get these changes done we need control of the Supreme Court which could strike down many of these measures, and they’re now being quite open about it. Eric Holder, members of Congress,. James Carville.they’re control we’ll pack the court and that will allow us to keep the power. So when you ask, Laura, what’s going to happen then, it’s going to be two things. They will open up the route for many of these radical political changes to our system, including changes to our constitutional system, but they will also reverse a lot of key cases."
