Graham Platner: U.S. Relationship with Israel Is ‘Shameful’; ‘There’s a Genocide That Has Been Committed in Gaza’

PLATNER: “I mean, at this point I would just say shameful. You know, this is — what is happening in Gaza is going — it’s the moral question of our time. And we failed it miserably. We continue to fail. You know, there a genocide that has been committed in Gaza and we continue to not only not stand up against it, but allow it to happen, run political cover for it, run diplomatic cover for it. You know, down the road, history is not going to remember the leaders of this nation, who — of both parties, by the way — who allowed this to happen. It’s not going to remember them well. And it is — it brings me an immense amount of shame, and I think it brings a lot of shame to a lot of Americans that even now we’re continuing to have this relationship and to support the mass killing of innocent civilians.”
