Former NHL Player Valeri Bure Praises Trump for Protecting Religious Freedom

BURE: “Well, it’s incredible to me, because I’m an immigrant, came in ‘91, and became an American. I’m proud to be an American. I don’t think people are understanding the value of not only, you know, religious freedom, but freedom of speech, just to be free. It’s quite amazing, and I think, when you’re born in here and you are so used to this culture, you don’t appreciate it as much. But when you see what’s going on in the world and how lucky we are to have the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion, it is such a blessing to live in this country, and especially now with what our president has done, not only on his first term, but in the second term, putting Bible in the schools and making sure that everybody’s focused on family values. It is incredible and that’s a part about what I came here and I fell in love in this country.”
